Welcome to Second Grade! 

My dreams are filled with the progress of my students!

 I am a graduate of the University of Trinidad and Tobago (Bachelor's degree- Elemen.& Spec. Needs Ed). In just a few weeks, I will graduate from Grand Canyon University with a Master's in Elementary Education.

After teaching full-time in the Caribbean for 25 years, I moved to the USA (in 2020). Most recently, I taught Language Arts for grades 4-8 at two charter schools in New Jersey and have just joined St. Paul School this September. My experience in the Caribbean includes roles such as Head of Language Arts and Senior Teacher. Additionally, I work as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing behavior therapy to clients on the autism spectrum in their homes.

Happily married, I have two wonderful children, ages 22 and 10. Together, we can look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growth!
