Education for Tomorrow, Faith for a Lifetime.
At St. Paul School, we value the education of the whole person. This is the first step in aiding each student in answering the universal call to holiness. By challenging our students academically, forming them socially, and inviting them into a deeper spirituality, we open the door for them to become all God created them to be.
Religion class is part of a St. Paul student’s daily routine. Here, we incorporate the Faith and Life Series(Ignatius Press) in conjunction with Sacred Scripture to enhance each student’s understanding of Church doctrine. It is our belief that true understanding of the Faith yields true discipleship.
Since discipleship is supported through frequent reception of the sacraments and regular practice in the works of mercy, both are a part of our school lifestyle. The entire school celebrates Mass every month. In addition, each week a different class is invited to its own private Mass in our school’s chapel. We make the sacrament of reconciliation available to our students during Advent and Lent. This is also a time when students can worship our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration.
All of this lends itself to a proper preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation into which each student is invited to participate.
